One of our greatest and proudest highlights of 2010 was the planning and execution of the production “Persreën” about the music of alumnus Johannes Kerkorrel.
It was a large-scale team effort from Alabama Productions, Artéma, PUK Arts, the NWU PUK Choir and the NWU PUK Symphonic Orchestra. The production was also part of the Aardklop programme and ± 3 000 people attended the six performances. The production had standing ovations after each of the performances.
The amazing local talent presented in the production showed once again the quality of artists cultivated and developed on campus.
